Taiwanese device maker HTC has outed an oddly beautiful smartphone in Japan (odd things are found in Japan anyway).
With the HTC One M9, One E9+ and One M9+ already in the mix, the new
HTC J Butterfly could throw more confusion into the drama as the company
already has way too many flagships, and even more expected to arrive
later this year.
In terms of design, the HTC J Butterfly
sports a plastic body which measures 151×73×10.1 mm, and tips the scale
at 162 grams. The casing features IP57 water and dust resistance to
keep the phone doctor away.
Coming to specs, there’s a 5.2″ Quad HD touchscreen display. A 20.2MP
duo-sensor camera and dual LED adorns the back of the phone while the
13MP front shooter comes along with another LED flash.
Under the hood, you’ll find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset and 3GB
of RAM, alongside a 32GB built-in storage which can further be expanded
using a microSD card slot. The phone is supplied current by a
user-removable battery with 2,700mAh of battery juice and runs on
Android 5.0 Lollipop
